According to Montgomery County Police, 4th District officers responded around 10:08am on Tuesday to the area of Georgia Avenue and Norbeck Road in Rockville for a reported shooting following a traffic-related altercation.
Investigators say an adult male suspect fired a gun from his vehicle at another adult male who was also in a vehicle before fleeing the scene.
Officers later located the suspect on Softwood Terrace, where he was taken into custody. No injuries were reported to the victim or bystanders, though the victim’s vehicle was struck by a bullet, and the scene has been secured.
