Hinzi’s is coming to 13015 Wisteria Drive in Germantown, taking over the space previously occupied by Mangino’s.
The concept, founded by Hina “Hinzi” Awan, first opened in 2024 at 503 N East Street in Frederick and blends Pakistani-inspired flavors with Mediterranean influences. Awan began her culinary journey experimenting with recipes in her Gaithersburg middle school kitchen, shaping the vision for a fast-casual concept centered on fresh, flavorful, and approachable food.
The menu focuses on customizable rice bowls and kati rolls, with popular options including butter chicken, gyro, paneer tikka, falafel, and chickpea masala bowls, along with handheld items like chicken kati rolls, crispy chicken rolls, and paneer tikka rolls . Sides such as samosa chaat, mirchi masala fries, and hummus with pita complement the menu, while drinks include masala chai and mango lassi, and desserts like rice pudding and baklava round out the offerings.
We will provide an update when additional information becomes available.
