Metro is looking to spotlight everyday riders across the region as part of a new public awareness campaign.
The transit agency is calling on current customers ages 18 and older to apply for its upcoming “Metro Wall of Fame” campaign, which will feature riders sharing their personal experiences across social media, digital platforms, and outdoor advertising.
“Metro is nothing without our customers,” said Chief Customer Officer Sarah Meyer. “Our Wall of Fame campaign will shine a spotlight on the people who rely on Metro Bus, Rail, and Access every day and help make our system an essential part of life in the DMV.” To be considered, interested participants are asked to submit:
- Name and age
- A recent photo (cell phone photos are acceptable)
- A short video introducing themselves
- A brief note describing their experience riding Metro, including which lines they use and the neighborhoods they frequent
Submissions should be emailed to [email protected] by Friday, April 17.
No acting or modeling experience is required, but selected participants must be comfortable being photographed or filmed and available for a daytime photo shoot in late April or early May at a DMV location. Finalists will be contacted with additional details, including the exact shoot date.
