Montgomery County Police 3rd District officers were dispatched at approximately 2:04am on Saturday to the 8000 block of Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring for the report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle in a parking lot that had been struck by a bullet. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident, and no arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
