Construction is now underway on the new Chick-fil-A at 22675 Clarksburg Road at the Clarksburg Outlets. The development follows the issuance of a $1.4 million building permit back in January.
Plans for the restaurant have been in motion since at least 2023, when a pre-submittal community meeting was held to discuss the proposal for a roughly 6,350-square-foot location with a drive-thru and associated parking and approved in spring 2024.
The new Chick-fil-A is being built as an infill project on a portion of the existing surface parking lot between Cabin Branch Parkway and the upper lot at the Clarksburg Outlets. It is one of two planned Chick-fil-A locations up county, with another proposed for the Milestone area of Germantown.
