Montgomery County Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred early Sunday morning near Georgia Avenue and Randolph Road in Glenmont.
Officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded around 1:17am, where they found a Cadillac Escalade that had left the roadway, struck a wooden utility pole, and overturned in the roadway.
The adult male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing to investigate the crash, and additional details, including the victim’s identity, will be released after next of kin has been notified.
