MoCo LagerFest Returns April 18

Saints Row Brewing is set to host one final celebration of Montgomery County’s craft beer community before closing its doors permanently, with MoCo LagerFest scheduled for April 18 in Gaithersburg.

The event will take place at Saints Row Brewing, located at 15 Fulks Corner Avenue, and will serve as a farewell gathering for the brewery, which announced last month that it will permanently close at the end of April after more than eight years in business.

MoCo LagerFest will feature more than 10 breweries and nearly two dozen lagers on tap, showcasing a wide range of styles from across the region. Participating breweries include 7 Locks Brewing, Silver Branch Brewing Company, Waredaca Farm Brewery, Lone Oak Farm Brewery, Brookeville Beer Farm, Elder Pine Brewing and Blending, Third Hill, and Mayan Monkey Brewpub. Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyards and Doc Water Cidery will also be on-site with guest pours.

Live music is scheduled throughout the day from 12pm to 9pm, with performances by La Unica, Omakase Band, and Cold Stream Band. Food vendors Hijos del Maiz and El Jefe Pizza will be serving throughout the event.

In addition to the beer, music, and food, Saints Row staff will offer custom tie-dye merchandise, adding to what organizers describe as one of their favorite events of the year.
