Montgomery County Department of Police 4th District Commander David Smith announced that all nine suspects have been identified and charged in connection with a strong-arm robbery that occurred February 4 at Wheaton Mall.
Police said the incident happened around 1 pm inside a restroom, where the victim was approached by multiple suspects, assaulted, and stabbed in the arm before the group fled the scene.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Authorities described the suspects as juveniles, and police have since increased patrols at the mall.
