The Square (formerly Rockville Town Square) has announced its 2026 Summer Concert Series, with a full lineup of free outdoor performances scheduled from late May through mid-September in Rockville. The weekly series runs every Friday evening and is a seasonal staple that brings a mix of local and regional acts to the community.
The series will kick off on May 29 with Liquid A, followed by Ocho de Bastos on June 5 and Proverbs on June 12. The Tribe Band will perform on June 19 as part of a Juneteenth Festival, with Natty Beaux scheduled for June 26.
No concert is planned for July 3 due to the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Performances resume July 10 with Tunnels End, followed by Don’t Back Down on July 17 and Unity Reggae Band on July 24. Pebble to Pearl is set to perform on July 31.
August’s lineup includes The Players Band on August 7, Joe Falero Band on August 14, Melissa Quinn Fox on August 21, and King Teddy on August 28. There will be no concert on September 4 due to Labor Day weekend. The series will conclude on September 11 with Capital Chill.
The concert series is free to attend and encourages attendees to bring lawn chairs and blankets, continuing a long-running tradition of outdoor live music at The Square throughout the summer months.
