Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police have charged a 17-year-old from Germantown as an adult in connection with a November 27, 2025 shooting.
According to MCPD, at 4:47 am., officers responded to reports of gunfire on Staffordshire Drive, where they recovered multiple shell casings and found that four homes had been struck. Bullets entered several bedrooms, including one where a child was sleeping. No injuries were reported.
The suspect was arrested on December 17, 2025 on unrelated warrants, during which a firearm was recovered and additional charges were filed. On April 16, 2026, authorities issued a warrant charging the suspect with multiple offenses related to the shooting, including attempted first- and second-degree murder, conspiracy, and firearms violations. The individual is being held in custody.
