UPDATE: The victim of the stabbing has been transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two suspects are in custody.
Montgomery County Police responded to a Safeway and McDonald’s following a reported stabbing Saturday afternoon in the Four Corners area of Silver Spring along University Boulevard.
According to police, officers from the 3rd District were dispatched around 3:52 p.m. One victim was found injured and transported to a nearby hospital. The condition of the victim has not been confirmed.
Authorities say the investigation is still in its early stages, and details about what led to the incident or whether a suspect is in custody have not yet been released.
