Purée Juice Bar is continuing its Montgomery County expansion, with a new location now moving forward at Cabin John Village in Potomac.
A recently issued permit valued at $120,000 will allow the company to finalize its upcoming storefront located between ReWild and Jurisdiction, next to Giant. The new location is expected to open this summer. The Cabin John Village store is part of a broader growth push for the longtime Bethesda-based juice company, which also plans to open a Georgetown location in 2026.
Purée Juice Bar first opened on Bethesda Row on December 29, 2011, initially offering cold-pressed juices, cleanses, and made-to-order shakes. Since then, the company has expanded its offerings to include raw vegan food, snacks, smoothies, salads, and proprietary organic vegan soft serve made using its juices as a base.
The company opened a commissary kitchen in Kensington in 2013, followed by additional locations in Fairfax’s Mosaic District, Sibley Hospital in Washington, DC, and inside Whole Foods Market at Tysons Corner.
In 2025, Purée was purchased by longtime customers Dyala Madani and Kaveh Shirazi, who said they plan to grow the brand while maintaining its focus on organic, high-quality food and beverages.
