Tropical Smoothie Cafe at 835 Rockville Pike, Suite F. at Wintergreen Plaza in Rockville is celebrating its grand opening this weekend with special promotions for customers.
On Saturday, May 9, the first 50 guests to arrive in-store will receive free smoothies for a year, according to the restaurant. The location is also offering a free 24-ounce smoothie with the purchase of a food item or bowl from May 8 through May 10 for in-cafe orders only.
The popular chain is known for its smoothies, wraps, and flatbreads, and already operates multiple locations across Montgomery County, including in Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Rockville, and Silver Spring.
Several other businesses are also expected to open soon at Wintergreen Plaza. Cold Stone Creamery is preparing to move into a long-vacant space near Paisano’, and Great Clips is set to open in the former Fantastic Sams location.
