The Gaithersburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying an individual connected to the malicious destruction of property at the Gaithersburg Police Station.
According to police, the incident occurred on April 23, 2026, at approximately 9:27 pm at the station located at 16 S. Summit Avenue. Surveillance video captured an individual wearing a black shirt, blue shorts, and black shoes allegedly kicking and punching the front entrance, causing significant damage to the handicap access button and ID card scanner.
