A special full-circle moment took place Thursday night in Montgomery County volleyball.
In 2022, Jaqueline Queirolo helped lead Northwest High School’s co-ed volleyball team to a Montgomery County championship as head coach. Four years later, her daughter, Jaylin Anderson, won a Montgomery County championship of her own as a player for Poolesville High School in the Falcons’ victory over Sherwood High School.
The connection between the two championships created a unique mother-daughter milestone tied to the same sport and the same county title stage.
“Volleyball has always been more than a game in our family,” Queirolo shared in a social media post following the match. “It became our second home, a place that taught us sacrifice, discipline, leadership, resilience, and heart.” She reflected on celebrating a county title as a coach in 2022 and then watching her daughter celebrate one as a player Thursday night.
