Goodwill of Greater Washington has announced that its upcoming Germantown, MD location will officially open on Tuesday, May 26 at 10 am. Donations are already being accepted at the site ahead of the opening.
The new store and donation center will be located within the new Waters Village Shopping Center redevelopment at the intersection of Waters Road and Wisteria Drive in Germantown. According to Goodwill, the location will be the organization’s first retail store and donation center in Montgomery County north of Gaithersburg.
Goodwill will serve as the primary tenant in one of the shopping center’s new retail buildings. The May 26 opening will function as a soft opening, while an official grand opening celebration is expected to be scheduled at a later date.
Goodwill opened a new Rockville location at the Montrose Shopping Center earlier this month.
