Rockville’s annual Hometown Holidays festival is set to return to Rockville Town Center on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, bringing two days of live entertainment, food, local vendors, family activities, and community programming to the heart of the city.
The free event will run from noon-6pm both days, with additional Sunday morning yoga programming beginning at 9am. This year’s festival lineup includes performances across multiple genres on two stages, including the U.S. Navy Band Cruisers, Proverbs Reggae Band, Fast Eddie & The Slowpokes, Bastard Bearded Irishmen, Joslyn & the Sweet Compression, Midnight Mimosa, North to Nashville, and more.
A mayor and council welcome is scheduled for 4:15pm both days on the Red Wing Shoes Main Stage. Families can also enjoy kids-focused entertainment including Echoes of Nature, Groovy Nate, and Rocknoceros, along with crafts and yard games in the kids activity area.
Sunday morning will also feature a free yoga session led by Thrive Yoga at 9am on the turf in front of the Town Square Stage. Attendees are encouraged to bring a mat and water.
In addition to entertainment, the festival will feature artisan vendors selling handmade jewelry, candles, skincare products, plants, pet goods, stationery, apparel, and other locally crafted items. Food and beverages from local restaurants and vendors will also be available throughout the weekend.
