The Greek Orthodox Church of St. George in Bethesda will host its annual Greek Festival on Saturday, June 6 from 12pm-9pm and Sunday, June 7 from 12pm-7pm at the church grounds located at 7701 Bradley Boulevard. Admission and parking are free.
The two-day festival invites visitors to taste, dance, shop, and celebrate Greek culture through traditional food, live entertainment, shopping, and family-friendly activities.
Guests can enjoy authentic Greek cuisine including gyros, souvlaki, spanakopita, tiropita, pastries, and loukoumades, the popular Greek honey donuts. Greek music and folk dance performances will take place throughout the weekend, alongside church tours, cultural exhibits, and cooking demonstrations.
Festivalgoers can also browse the Greek “Agora” marketplace and the “Monastiraki” flea market, featuring vendors, gifts, and specialty items. A Kids Corner and take-out options will also be available.
The event is organized and staffed by volunteers from the St. George community, with proceeds benefiting the church’s ministries, programs, and local charitable efforts. For more information, visit stgeorge.org/festival.
