Montgomery County officials announced that temporary bus bay changes are currently in effect at the Wheaton Metro Station due to the ongoing bus shelter replacement project.
Phase 2 of the project is expected to begin on or around Monday, June 1, and continue through Friday, June 12.
During Phase 2, Ride On Routes 34 and 41 will move from Bay F to T2, Route 31 will move from Bay H to T1, Route 9 will move from Bay J to T3, and Routes 7 and 8 will move from Bay K to Bay P. Signs will be posted at the station to indicate the temporary bus bay relocations. Phase 1 changes remain in effect and are expected to last until Friday, May 29.
