The Montgomery Village Middle School boys soccer team finished the season undefeated, posting a perfect record across five matches, including two home games and three away contests.
More than 50 students participated in tryouts, with 26 student-athletes earning spots on the team.
According to Coach Verastegui, the season was marked by teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship and a commitment to improvement both on the field and in the classroom. The coach also recognized the contributions of the team’s managers and noted that players embraced the message, “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” as a reminder to support one another throughout the season.
