The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is celebrating Pride Month with the return of its annual “Ride With Pride” Ride On bus. Now in its fourth year, the specially wrapped bus will travel throughout Montgomery County during June to recognize and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.
This year’s bus features the theme “Radiating Love,” with bright colors extending from a central point and illuminated elements designed to stand out at night. The bus includes Ride With Pride messaging and is intended to highlight LGBTQ+ voices, culture and civil rights. In addition to the Pride Bus, all Ride On buses feature interior advertisements with QR codes linking riders to information about the history and significance of Pride Month.
County officials said the initiative is part of Montgomery County’s ongoing efforts to promote inclusion and recognize the contributions of LGBTQ+ residents. The Pride Bus will operate on routes across the county throughout June, and riders are encouraged to share photos on social media using the hashtag #RideWithPride.
