The Lincoln Park Community Center in Rockville will officially reopen on Wednesday, July 1, following a comprehensive renovation that began in May 2025. Before the reopening, residents are invited to preview the facility from June 22 through June 30 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Visitors will be able to tour the renovated spaces, purchase or renew memberships, and participate in drop-in open-house activities. Areas being used for camp programs will remain closed during the preview period.
The 12,500-square-foot community center received significant upgrades, including new restrooms, accessibility improvements, infrastructure modernization, reconfigured program spaces, a new STEM classroom and an accessible fitness room. Located at 357 Frederick Ave., the center serves the historic Lincoln Park neighborhood and hosts more than 600 programs annually, including after-school activities, sports, fitness classes, community rentals and special events. Regular operating hours will resume July 1.
