First Look At All-You-Can-Eat Wagyu Experience Opening June 24

Genki Wagyu Shabu House is preparing to welcome its first guests in Rockville, with the restaurant announcing that its soft opening will begin on June 24. Reservations for the soft opening experience are now scheduled to open on that date as the highly anticipated all-you-can-eat Wagyu and hot pot concept prepares to debut in Twinbrook Quarter. A first-look video of the experience can be seen below.

Located at 870 Festival Street in Twinbrook Quarter, next to Wegmans, Genki Wagyu Shabu House will bring an all-you-can-eat Wagyu and hot pot concept to Montgomery County. The restaurant will offer a selection of premium broths including Sukiyaki, Shabu Dashi, Tomato, Spicy Miso, Mushroom, and Tom Yum.

The restaurant has also released its pricing structure, which includes three all-you-can-eat tiers. The Silver experience is priced at $58 per person and includes premium beef options, kitchen appetizers, vegetables, hot dishes, desserts, and drinks. The Gold experience is $78 per person and adds higher-end Wagyu selections, seafood, sushi, and additional appetizers. The top-tier Diamond experience is priced at $98 per person and features Japanese A5 Wagyu cuts, premium seafood, sushi, and expanded appetizer offerings.

In addition to hot pot, Gold and Diamond diners will have access to an extensive sushi menu featuring sashimi, nigiri, hand rolls, specialty rolls, and seafood appetizers. According to the restaurant, dining sessions will be limited to 90 minutes, with all guests at a table required to select the same menu tier.

The opening will mark Genki Wagyu Shabu House’s first location in Maryland. The restaurant previously announced it will share the space with Molly Tea, a tea beverage brand known for its jasmine-focused drinks and traditional Chinese tea offerings.

The restaurant’s hours are expected to be Monday from 5pm to 10pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm to 10pm, and Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 11pm. The restaurant plans to remain closed on Tuesdays and Sundays, though hours remain subject to change.
