Inaugural Taste Of Burtonsville Set For July 25

The Montgomery County East County Regional Services Center and the Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce will host the inaugural Taste of Burtonsville on Saturday, July 25, from 11am to 2pm behind Restaurant 198 in Burtonsville. This event was originally scheduled for April, but was cancelled due to weather.

The event, which was recently moved to the Restaurant 198 parking lot at 15540 Old Columbia Pike, will feature food samples from nine local restaurants representing a variety of international and American cuisines. Attendees will also be able to enjoy live music from The JoGo Project and family-friendly activities in a dedicated Kids Zone.

Tickets are available for $25 in advance and include seven tasting tickets. Individual tasting tickets will also be available for purchase at the event for $5 each. Admission includes access to the event, sample bites from participating vendors, live entertainment, and children’s activities.

Organizers say the event is designed to highlight the diverse culinary offerings found throughout the Burtonsville area while bringing the community together for an afternoon of food, music, and family-friendly entertainment.
