New storefront signage at Orange Pocket now reads “See You in August,” signaling that the Japanese and Korean-inspired pop culture and lifestyle store is preparing to welcome customers later this summer.
The store will be located at 30 Grand Corner Avenue, in the former Pier 1 Imports and seasonal Spirit Halloween space at Rio Lakefront in Gaithersburg, and will offer a mix of shopping and interactive attractions, including gashapon capsule toy machines, claw machines, blind boxes, Japanese snacks and drinks, beauty and skincare products, toys, collectibles, pet products, stationery, and home goods such as bowls and chopsticks.
Orange Pocket says it aims to create a colorful, interactive shopping experience geared toward families and younger customers. The business had previously shared that it was targeting an August opening, and the new storefront signage indicates those plans remain on schedule.
