The Big Dill, which bills itself as “America’s Premier Pickle Festival” and the “Most Entertaining Pickle-Themed Experience in the World,” is returning to Baltimore’s Power Plant Live! this fall with two days of pickle-inspired food, entertainment and competitions.
The festival will take place on Saturday, Sept. 19, and Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, at Power Plant Live!, located at 34 Market Place in downtown Baltimore. Organizers say this year’s event will feature more than 70 vendors, the return of the 25-foot World’s Largest Pickle Jar, pickle-themed foods and drinks, mechanical pickle rides, carnival attractions and live entertainment.
Festival highlights will include the World Pickle Eating Championship, the Brine Chug Challenge, a pickle-themed RAVE dance party, the interactive Pickle UP! Game Show with prizes, face painting and numerous pickle-related activities throughout the weekend. Attendees can also expect dozens of pickle varieties available for sampling and purchase, along with creative pickle-inspired foods and desserts.
Founded in 2019, The Big Dill has grown into one of the nation’s largest pickle-themed festivals, attracting pickle enthusiasts from across the country. Previous festivals have featured pickle-flavored ice cream, pizza, doughnuts, fudge and other specialty foods, as well as appearances by the festival’s mascot, “Dilly” the pickle.
