A 24-year-old Montgomery County man was arrested early Friday morning after Anne Arundel County Police say officers recovered a loaded handgun during a traffic stop in Laurel.
According to Anne Arundel County Police, at approximately 1:10am on July 17, an officer conducted a traffic stop involving a 2023 Chevrolet Malibu in the 3400 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road.
During the stop, the officer discovered a loaded black 9mm Polymer 80 handgun inside a satchel beneath the driver’s seat. The driver was taken into custody and charged.
Police identified the driver as Xavier Alexander Graves, 24, of Silver Spring. A photo of the suspect was not provided by police.
