Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded at approximately 5:16 a.m. Monday to the 14800 block of Maydale Court in Silver Spring for a house fire.
Firefighters arrived to find flames visible from the front door of the single-family home. All six occupants, including three adults and three children, escaped safely without injury. The family has been displaced and is receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
