Lilit Cafe, located on the 7900 block of Old Georgetown Rd. in Bethesda, shared with us Monday morning that it was one of three businesses on Old Georgetown Rd. whose windows were shattered during overnight break-ins.
According to Lilit Cafe, property was stolen after the window was broken. We reached out to the Montgomery County Police Department, which confirmed officers responded to the area around 2:51am Monday for a reported commercial burglary.
Police said the suspects had already fled before officers arrived. “This is an active and ongoing commercial burglary investigation,” an MCPD spokesperson said. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Montgomery County Police Department.
