Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help identifying three suspects connected to a series of commercial burglaries that occurred around 2:51 a.m. on Sunday, July 19. Detectives say four businesses in the 7800 and 7900 blocks of Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda were targeted.
According to investigators, two suspects forced entry into the businesses and stole property before fleeing in a white 2018 Hyundai Elantra driven by a third suspect. Police describe one suspect as a Black male wearing black clothing, a black ski mask, and black-and-white sneakers. The second suspect is described as a Black male wearing black clothing, a medical mask, black-and-white sneakers, neon gloves, and carrying a metal bat. The third suspect is believed to have been the driver of the white Hyundai Elantra, which was later found abandoned in Washington, D.C.
