Two adults and a cat safely escaped an early morning house fire in Silver Spring on Friday, July 24, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service officials.
MCFRS was dispatched at 12:38 a.m. to the 1100 block of Tiffany Road, where crews found fire on the first floor of a single-family home.
Investigators determined the fire was electrical in nature. The two adult residents and their cat were not injured but were displaced by the fire. The American Red Cross is assisting the residents.
