Three Montgomery County Public Schools students have each been awarded a $120,000 scholarship to Midland University after finishing in the Top 5 at the National American Miss (NAM) Maryland and Virginia State Pageant.
The competition was held July 9 through July 12 and included events such as a personal interview, personal introduction, and evening wear. The scholarships were presented during the pageant’s finale on July 12. According to MCPS, the scholarship recipients are:
- Genevieve Bulles of Wootton High School
- Abhisneha Jones, a member of Northwest High School’s Class of 2026
- Giulla Concepcion, a member of Albert Einstein High School’s Class of 2026
According to National American Miss, Midland University is awarding scholarships to the 2026 national queens and runners-up, as well as state queens and the Top 5 finalists at each state pageant.
The organization says the partnership will provide more than $230 million in scholarship aid during 2026, helping participants pursue a college education while supporting the development of future female leaders.
