iSMASH has taken another step toward opening its first Montgomery County location, with “Coming Soon” signage now installed at its future home in The Square in Rockville.
The rage room and interactive entertainment concept is planned for 36-C Maryland Avenue, in the space next to Dirty Dough currently occupied by the Rockville Science Center.
iSMASH is known for its rage rooms, where guests can safely destroy items such as glassware, electronics and furniture using tools including baseball bats and sledgehammers. The company offers several smash packages with varying session lengths and quantities of breakable items, as well as specialty experiences like “Bring Your Own Box,” allowing customers to smash their own items.
In addition to its rage rooms, iSMASH also features a Splatter Paint experience, where guests create colorful artwork by throwing neon paint under blacklights. The attraction is open to participants as young as 3 years old, making it one of the company’s more family-friendly offerings.
An official opening date has not yet been announced.
