Burglary Suspects Used Stolen Credit Cards, Police Say

Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects connected to a residential burglary in Silver Spring that led to the theft of a vehicle, wallet, keys, and credit cards.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Police’s 3rd District Investigative Section, the burglary occurred at approximately 4 a.m. on Monday, June 15, at a home in the 100 block of Lynnmoor Drive.

Detectives said the two suspects entered the residence and stole a wallet, keys, and a silver Subaru Forester. A short time later, investigators say the suspects used the victim’s stolen credit cards at nearby businesses, where they were captured on surveillance video.

One suspect is described as a Black male with a beard, wearing a black beanie, a dark jacket, and a white undershirt. The second suspect is described as a Black male wearing a tan baseball cap and dark clothing.
