The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) will begin maintenance work Monday, August 10, on four bridges along northbound I-95 in the Columbia area of Howard County.
The project is intended to improve the roadway surface and will focus on the northbound I-95 bridges over the Middle Patuxent River, Little Patuxent River, eastbound MD 32 and westbound MD 32.
The work will require double-lane closures on northbound I-95 during overnight hours. Closures are scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 9pm to 5am.
The project is expected to continue through October, weather permitting. Drivers traveling through the area during overnight hours should allow additional travel time and be prepared for lane closures.
