School of Rock Rockville will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, September 5, from 11am-1:30pm.
The event will feature live music, trial lessons, food, activities and more. Tickets are not required, though attendees are encouraged to RSVP. Free trial lessons can also be booked by emailing [email protected].
The new location is listed at 1081 Rockville Pike in the Talbott Center, next to the Kielbasa Factory. When the location was first announced in August 2025, it was initially listed with an address of 1043 Rockville Pike. School of Rock also operates Montgomery County locations at 8634 Colesville Rd in Silver Spring and 12974 Middlebrook Rd in Germantown.
The Rockville school offers instruction in guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and vocals across a variety of musical genres. Students learn through a combination of reading music, playing by ear and performing together in bands, with opportunities to appear at community events and local venues.
