Gaithersburg’s Oktoberfest Returns for 33rd Year this Fall

The City of Gaithersburg will host its 33rd annual Oktoberfest celebration on Sunday, October 11, from noon to 5pm.

The festival will take place in and around the Arts Barn, Kentlands Mansion, Kentlands Village Green and along Main Street and Inspiration Lane. Admission and parking are free. A free wheelchair-accessible shuttle will operate regularly throughout the festival between the event and satellite parking at 101 Orchard Ridge Dr, just off Quince Orchard Rd.

Multiple stages will feature live entertainment throughout the day, including traditional Bavarian music and dancing alongside performances by local, regional, and national acts. Visitors can also enjoy fall-themed activities for families, browse artisan vendors, explore the popular Business Expo, and sample a wide array of food and beverages. Offerings include beer, mead, cider, and even non-alcoholic options for all ages.

Oktoberfest has welcomed as many as 30,000 attendees in past years, making it one of the largest annual events in the region. Admission, parking, and shuttle service are all free to the public, ensuring accessibility for everyone.
