UNIQLO will open its newest Washington DC area store in Georgetown on Friday, August 28. The store will be taking over the 22,000 SF space that was previously home to J.Crew.
The new store is located at 3262 M St NW and will offer the retailer’s LifeWear collection, including everyday essentials, modern basics and comfortable layers created with Japanese design and technology.
Uniqlo is a global Japanese casual-wear retailer known for its minimalist, functional, and high-quality wardrobe essentials at accessible price points. Unlike fast-fashion competitors like Zara or H&M, which chase rapidly changing micro-trends, Uniqlo focuses on timeless, versatile basics designed to fit seamlessly into any outfit, a concept they call “LifeWear.”
Grand opening weekend hours will be 10am-8pm Monday through Saturday and 10am-7pm Sunday. In Montgomery County, UNIQLO currently operates three locations:
- Westfield Montgomery Mall at 7101 Democracy Blvd in Bethesda
- Pike & Rose at 11853 Grand Park Ave in North Bethesda
- Downtown Silver Spring at 914 Ellsworth Dr in Silver Spring
