BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport is paying tribute to country music legend Dolly Parton, who died Tuesday, August 25, at the age of 80.
The airport has set the accent lighting in its A/B Connector to pink in Parton’s honor, joining tributes to the singer and philanthropist taking place across the country following her death.
BWI shared the tribute alongside one of Parton’s well-known quotes: “If you see someone without a smile, give them yours.”
Parton died in Nashville following a brief battle with cancer, according to her representatives.
