Le Creuset is scheduled to open at The Collection at Chevy Chase on Friday, August 28.
The new store, located at 5481 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite B, will mark Le Creuset’s 76th store. The Chevy Chase location will be a Signature Boutique, offering the brand’s full retail selection rather than operating as an outlet store. Listed hours are 10am to 6pm daily.
A four-day grand opening celebration will begin Thursday, September 10, with a ceremony featuring remarks from Le Creuset representatives and a ribbon-cutting. The celebration will continue through Sunday, September 13, with exclusive offers, giveaways, gifts with purchase and refreshments.
Special food and beverage pop-ups are also planned throughout the celebration, including King of Pops Gourmet Popsicles from 12-3pm on September 10, Vim Coffee and Espresso from 10:30am-2pm on September 11, Gemma Gelato from 12-3pm on September 12 and a 3 Blooms Toffee tasting from 1-3pm on September 13.
During the grand opening celebration, the first 10 customers in line each day will receive a complimentary Le Creuset apron. Shoppers will also find special pricing on select cast iron colors, nonstick cookware, metal bakeware and other products. Customers who spend $275 or more will receive a Le Creuset Pumpkin Butter Dish while supplies last.
Founded in France in 1925, Le Creuset is best known for its colorful enameled cast-iron cookware, particularly its Dutch ovens. The company also offers stoneware, bakeware, skillets, tea kettles, kitchen utensils and other cookware and accessories.
Le Creuset’s cast-iron cookware continues to be manufactured at its original foundry in Fresnoy-le-Grand, France.
