Junction Bistro, Bar, & Bakery to Permanently Close

Junction Bistro, Bar, & Bakery will permanently close its Chevy Chase location at 5471 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 206B, after service on Friday, August 28.

The restaurant announced the closure in a message to customers, thanking the Chevy Chase community for supporting the business through morning coffee runs, weekend brunches, lunches and other visits over the years.

Junction describes itself as a neighborhood restaurant, bar and bakery focused on scratch-made food and quality ingredients. Its menu includes coffee and pastries, breakfast sandwiches, French toast, biscuits and gravy, brunch dishes, salads, sandwiches, burgers and house-smoked brisket.

The Chevy Chase closure follows the shutdown of Junction’s Capitol Hill location last month. The company’s remaining location at 1508 Mount Vernon Avenue in Alexandria will stay open.

“This announcement is specific to our Chevy Chase location, our Alexandria location is open and doing great, and we’re excited to keep serving our Alexandria community,” the restaurant said.
