The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will hold a virtual public hearing on Thursday, October 1 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the proposed Washington Grove Connector Trail.
The project would create an approximately 850-foot-long, 10-foot-wide shared-use path connecting the end of Crabbs Branch Way to Brown Street in Washington Grove. The paved trail would provide a connection for pedestrians and bicyclists traveling between Washington Grove and nearby destinations and transit hubs, including the Shady Grove Metro station.
During the hearing, MCDOT will present details on the proposed project, including costs and schedules, and will collect public comments and answer questions. Public feedback may be considered as part of the final design.
Online registration is required to participate in the virtual hearing. MCDOT will send registered participants a Zoom link the day before the meeting. Residents can also submit written comments through the project’s online comment form or by contacting the project manager.
