Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken is hiring ahead of its anticipated opening this fall at Briggs Chaney Marketplace. Permanent signage is now up at the restaurant, located at 13811 Outlet Dr, but an opening date has not been announced.
The restaurant is taking over the former Metro PCS space between Mimi’s Perfect Nails and H&R Block. As we reported in November 2025, the location had secured its construction permit and was targeting a potential early 2026 opening. The anticipated opening has since shifted to this fall.
Hangry Joe’s is known for its Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches, tenders, wings and chicken-and-waffles. The Briggs Chaney restaurant will join several Montgomery County locations, including Wheaton at 2533 Ennals Ave, Rockville at 718-B Rockville Pike and 10050 Darnestown Rd, Montgomery Village at 19290 Montgomery Village Ave, and Germantown at 19730 Germantown Rd.
