Montgomery County’s Department of Health and Human Services will host a community park cleanup focused on removing tobacco litter and other trash on Monday, September 21, at Randolph Hills Local Park in North Bethesda.
The Tobacco Litter and Trash Clean Up Day will run from 10 a.m. to noon at the park, located at 11805 Ashley Drive. In-person registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
Residents of all ages are invited to participate. Gloves, bags and other cleanup materials will be provided.
The event is being held through the County’s Tobacco Community Grant program and is intended to highlight the environmental impact of tobacco waste while bringing residents together to help clean the park.
