Urbana Lodge, located at 3335 Worthington Blvd. in Urbana, has announced it will permanently close on Sunday, September 27, with a new restaurant concept already planned for the space.
The restaurant opened in the summer of 2025 in the space that was previously the longtime home of Buffalo Wild Wings. In announcing the closure, Urbana Lodge said that the concept “didn’t quite work out the way we had envisioned” and thanked the community for its support. For its final day on September 27, Urbana Lodge will offer 50% off its brunch and dinner buffets, which are normally priced at $24.99.
The closure will be followed by the opening of Maharaja Palace, a new restaurant from the same ownership. According to the announcement, Maharaja Palace will offer a “Royal Dining Experience” featuring aromatic spices and a variety of flavors. An opening date has not yet been announced.
Customers who visit Urbana Lodge on its final day will also receive $10 off their first dining experience at Maharaja Palace.
