Dear Matcha, a matcha concept that launched inside Rockville’s Mia Cane and has also appeared at farmers markets across the area in recent months, is hosting its first solo, one day pop-up in Bethesda.
The pop-up will take place at 4928 Cordell Ave., the longtime home of Alatri Brothers, which closed in July after approximately 10 years in business. Dear Matcha announced that it will host the pop-up on Saturday, October 10, with the celebration scheduled from 11am-4pm. The event will feature R&B music from DJ Xaje, the full matcha menu, exclusive drinks, giveaways and merchandise.
Dear Matcha has primarily been available at Mia Cane, which opened its first local store at 785-I Rockville Pike in the Ritchie Center in 2024. The concept has expanded its presence through pop-ups and farmers markets.
