The City of Gaithersburg’s 33rd annual Oktoberfest will take place Sunday, October 11, 2026, from noon to 5pm in Kentlands. Admission and parking are free.
The celebration will span the Arts Barn, Kentlands Mansion, Kentlands Village Green, Main Street and Inspiration Lane, featuring food and drink vendors, shopping, demonstrations and family activities.

Alcohol vendors include Clear Skies Meadery, Dawson’s Market, Dogfish Head Alehouse, The Grape Escape Kentlands, Liquidity Aleworks, Saints Row Brewing and Waredaca Brewing Company. Guests must be 21 or older with valid identification to purchase alcohol.
Activities will include free paint-and-sip classes, pumpkin-carving and apple-pressing demonstrations, inflatables, balloon twisting, bubbles, chalk art and children’s crafts. A pumpkin-painting fundraiser will benefit the Gaithersburg Student Union.
Kentlands Mansion will offer a sensory zone with sensory toys and low-volume children’s music for kids who need a break from the crowds.
Artisan Square on Briscoe and Selby streets will feature handmade goods, including jewelry, woodcrafts, textiles, body-care products, ceramics and bonsai plants, along with local nonprofit and community organizations. The Inspiration Lane Business Expo will showcase Kentlands and area businesses with shopping, activities, giveaways, prizes and raffles.
Free wheelchair-accessible shuttles will run regularly during festival hours between the event and satellite parking at 101 Orchard Ridge Drive, just off Quince Orchard Road. Additional information can be found here.
