Six people have been indicted on federal drug trafficking charges following an investigation that resulted in the seizure of more than 140 kilograms of cocaine, approximately 10 kilograms of fentanyl and $1.3 million, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland.
Federal prosecutors said the investigation began in September 2025 and centered on an alleged large-scale drug trafficking organization involving 58-year-old George Robinson of Baltimore. Robinson and five others are charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances.
According to court documents, investigators observed drug shipments allegedly concealed inside steel structures packed in crates and delivered by flatbed trailers to Baltimore warehouses. Authorities searched several locations on May 6, seizing the cocaine, fentanyl, cash, firearms, drug-packaging materials and dozens of cellphones.
The six defendants face a minimum of 10 years and up to life in federal prison if convicted. An indictment is an allegation, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
