Three Powerball tickets sold in Maryland won $50,000 or more in Monday night’s drawing, while the jackpot climbed to an estimated $409 million after no ticket matched all six numbers.
A ticket sold at Fastop Food Store in North Beach won $150,000 after matching four white balls plus the Powerball and adding the Power Play option, which tripled the standard $50,000 prize.
Two additional tickets, sold at Exxon in Middle River and Royal Farms in Lutherville, each won $50,000.
The winning numbers for the Monday, September 28 drawing were 17, 21, 29, 42 and 49, with Powerball 7. Another 12,451 Maryland tickets won prizes ranging from $4 to $100.
The jackpot for Wednesday, September 30 is estimated at $409 million, with a cash option of $170.2 million.
