Whites Store Road in Boyds will temporarily close for approximately two weeks beginning on or about Wednesday, October 7, while Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) crews complete the second phase of pipe replacement work.
Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, excluding weekends and holidays. Local traffic will be maintained up to the closure, and a signed detour will be in place.
During the emergency maintenance work, MCDOT will remove failing metal culverts and replace them with new twin concrete culverts.
